Clark Forklift Specifications
Kinds
Clark makes a range of forklift trucks including narrow aisles, pneumatic trucks and cushion trucks. The different kinds differ in terms of the way they run. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts used for construction and agriculture are powered by an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle models designed for use within warehouses and various other confined spaces operate on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks differs based on the type. Forklifts which are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, that depends on the kind. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion models are suggested. They can carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks run on AC battery cells, either 36 volt or 48 volt. The internal combustible engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC models have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This consists of the operator's overhead protective cover, the seat and the controls. The frame consist of the engine, fuel tank, trans-axle, wheels and transmission.
