Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could normally find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also called pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are used to move supplies and things around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump that can lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by a single person.
To be able to avoid loosing control while lifting heavy loads, pallet trucks must always be operated with care. Machine must be checked before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Make sure that the handle turns smoothly. The pallet should be stacked carefully to be able to ensure that nothing will fall off during transportation.
To release air in the pump and lower the forks, squeeze the lever situated on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks can then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks must be in the middle to guarantee even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not raise the pallet very high or the forklift can unbalance.
Pull on the handle and drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is not safe to push the pallet ahead of you since the thrust can cause it to go out of control. Take turns slowly and don't attempt to stop suddenly. Gradually come to a stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
