Narrow aisle forklifts function by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the aisle width. Yale spotlights the double reach NDR and the single reach NR models for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks apply best-in-class ergonomics and provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different stance and control handle configurations.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations which meet a variety of operations as well as a choice of fore and aft stance or side-stance options too.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides powerful deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been made for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of cargo moved in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings. This increases the mast durability and rigidity; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, as well as the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly enhance the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific feature which maintains lower oil operating temperature whilst reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: To greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable so as to reduce operator fatigue. In the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: The very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks are also referred to as order pickers. These machines are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the cargo and the operator to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are normally rail or wire guided when used in very narrow aisle applications.
