Narrow Aisle Forklift
Made to both lift and lower loaded pallets from storage spaces that are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This kind is suitable for work places with narrow spaces between aisles, like warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has small, solid rubber tires which make maneuvering really easy.
Normally, the operator of this specific kind of forklift stands up in a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as short and narrow as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift normally has three tires: one in the back, and two in the front. This configuration allows for fast and easy maneuvering. There are some versions of these forklifts which come with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment is capable of pivoting to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the entire equipment. The sit-down model generally has four wheels.
An electric engine is used to power numerous narrow aisle forklifts. Electric-powered machines do not produce exhaust fumes and are not noisy, making them the suitable choice for closed areas like retail spaces. Some lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. Then again, the diesel model is not suggested for indoor application as it could produce exhaust and be noisy.
