The compact size of the Genie AWP Super Series gives the user the ability to work with the machine as close as 8 centimetres from a wall. The ability to work this closely makes tasks easier without having to utilize more than one machinery to perform one task. Being the smallest within the business, the effectively designed X-pattern outrigger footprint is a common feature which allows the operator to operate close to the job. Controls on these units would include: a locking key switch, a dual-activated up/down switch, outrigger setup confirmation lights, and a low battery indicator. In the case of a power failure there is an auxiliary platform-lowering feature that allows for descent. This particular feature is standard on all DC and AC units.
